About Me

A Project Manager in the water industry for almost forty years, I took early retirement when my wife Sam and I moved to Herne Bay in 2023. We found Cabin FM shortly after settling in and haven't turned the dial since. We have four grown up children between us all living in Kent, and two beautiful granddaughters who we love to spoil.

I'm originally from the Isle of Sheppey and Sam is a proper Cockney girl from Bow. We both love live music, micro pubs, the beach, walking and all the great places to eat locally. I'm also now a keen supporter of Herne Bay FC and we both joined the local Herne Bay bowling club.

I have a wide taste in music but my favourite is ska. How can you not dance to ska, it's always so upbeat! Given my lifelong love of music, I decided to join Cabin FM as a presenter, although I'm a complete novice. I've always loved to jump into a challenge and see where it takes me.
