About Me
I have lived in East Kent all my life and have recently retired from the NHS, where I worked in mental health services for 45 years! I now work as a personal development coach and solution focused therapist, as well as running training and resilience programmes across the whole of Kent.
I first fell in love with radio in the seventies, listening to radio Luxembourg and Radio Caroline and it was at this time that I met Bob Le Roi, going on to produce some of his Caroline shows. At that time, I really wanted to become a radio presenter, however joining the NHS and having a young family always took priority. Now, with the children all grown up and having more time for myself, I thought I’d re-visit my dream and here I am 45 years later on Cabin FM!
Whilst I really love all kinds of music, I will admit that my real passion is rock, from heavy metal to pop/rock and all points in between, so having the chance to present a weekly rock show on Cabin is a dream come true.
You can hear me on the Cabin Breakfast Club on Tuesdays, from 7am to 9am and on ‘Rockin’ The Cabin,' - the Friday night Rock show, from 7pm to 9pm.
