Herne Bay Football Club made it four wins in four games with an exhilarating 3-0 pounding of Faversham Town at Salters Lane on Bank Holiday Monday. Only saves from the home 'keeper kept the scoreline goalless at the break. After the interval Bay knocked the ball around with increasing confidence and opened the scoring in the 68th minute through Danny Leonard.
With 12 minutes to go, Nassim Dukali made it two then scored his second and Bay’s third just before the final whistle with a pacey solo effort. Herne Bay 'skipper Jono Richardson said it was a complete performance, he told Radio Cabin 94.6 FM's Peter Guise that, "It was absolutely superb, every game we've been getting better and better. We've got some young players but John (Embery, joint manager) says if you're young enough and you're good enough and today they showed if you take your chances and if you start to keep the ball and start to move the ball we showed a very experienced Faversham team that actually a young side can come up trumps and play very well on its day".
