Between 10:00pm and 11:42pm on Saturday 26th August 2017, window panes were pulled out and large pieces of wood torn from the shelter in Central Parade.
Officers investigating the criminal damage have released the description of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident. He is described as white, with short hair and of a stocky build and was wearing light-coloured, three-quarter length shorts and a white tee-shirt.
Sergeant Nick Barton, of the Canterbury Community Safety Unit said: ‘We also believe that members of the public may have footage of the incident on their mobile phones, which could help our investigation.’
