About Me

I joined Hospital Radio Cabin in December of 1970 just before broadcasting began. This makes me the only one from the very beginning now at Cabin FM. I did leave Cabin in 1976 due to work commitments, at the time I was joint Station Manager with Kevin Worral another founding member who I am still in touch with today. I re-joined Cabin FM in 2016 at the invitation of my friend Peter Guise.

I was also one of the Cabin Youth Club's resident disco night DJ’s during the early 70’s and still run a mobile disco to this day.

Presenting the Gold Show between 7-9pm on a Monday evening gives me the opportunity to play music from my three favourite decades, namely the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s.

Apart from radio I enjoy listening to music, anything from classical to heavy rock. I also enjoy photography, cricket, art & history. I started and run, ‘Herne Bay & Herne Remembered’ Facebook group looking back at our local area in times past.
