Join 'Lou's Rhythm & Blues Show' every Thursday evening from 7-9pm, for a marvellous mix of blues, jazz, swing, soul, gospel, funk and disco, blended together with local info and Lou's unique take on that thing we call 'life'. Lou also hosts 'live' music sessions on her show, so if you are a local songwriter, singer or band and cover the genres of music that Lou plays, then do get in touch and she would be delighted to welcome you into the Cabin FM studio for a chat!

With a background in arts and entertainment, working on stage as an actress and singer and off stage as a director, producer and writer, putting together a two hour radio show is a bit like putting on a theatre production; it’s all in the storytelling… Lou is originally from Surrey but, together with her husband Rodger and son Sam, they upped sticks and moved to Whitstable back in 2011 and have never looked back. By day she is a Marriage, Family and Funeral Celebrant (www.kentcreativeceremonies.com) conducting weddings, renewals, baby namings and funerals. By night she is a vocalist touring theatres with her own show celebrating such sassy singers as Billie, Etta, Aretha, Gladys and Amy. When she’s not doing that, she adores walking her westie Bobbi along the seafront, and when she’s not doing that, she is cleaning the house!
