On 15th September, the News Team with the Station Manager, travelled to Sheffield for the Community Radio Awards after being shortlisted for the Speech & Journalism Award. We are delighted to have been awarded Silver; a great achievement given the short time that Radio Cabin 94.6FM has been broadcasting as a Community Radio Station. Although the station has been around for over 40 years in various formats, of course. The subject of the award winning piece was the opening of the new Herne Centre.
